Privacy policy

This website belongs to Mohsin Siddiqui, an independent consultant licensed as a freelancer in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I’m the controller of any personal data collected through it, and I handle that data in line with the UAE’s Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. What this website collects

The website itself sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Personal data reaches me in three ways:

• The enquiry form, which runs on Microsoft Forms and collects your name, email address, organisation and message
• Booking a call, which runs on Microsoft Bookings and collects your name, email address and anything you add to the booking
• Email, when you write to me directly

Why I use it

I use your details only to reply to you, to arrange a conversation and, if we go on to work together, to deliver and invoice the work. By sending an enquiry or booking a call, you agree to my using your details for those purposes. I don’t sell personal data, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.

Who else handles it

Microsoft processes the form, booking and email data on my behalf, and Cloudflare hosts this website and processes technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages securely. Both may process data outside the UAE, under contractual data protection commitments. Links to LinkedIn take you to a site with its own privacy policy.

How long I keep it

I delete enquiries that don’t lead to work within 12 months. Records of client work are kept for as long as UAE legal, tax and professional obligations require.

Your rights

You can ask me what personal data I hold about you and how I use it, and ask me to correct it, delete it, restrict or stop its use, or send you a copy. Email me and I’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, you can complain to the UAE’s federal data protection authority.

I’ll update this page if anything here changes, and the date below shows the latest version.
